How UK Parliament Works
The UK parliament sits at the heart of government. It is the oldest, and often strangest, element of the current constitution. It is also the central and supreme element of our model of government, and its processes, practices, and even its idiosyncrasies, influence all elements of the civil service and the public sector.
Whether you are coming from the outside and want to influence decision making at the highest level, or are a civil servant or public sector worker wanting to find your way through the labyrinth of arcane process and archaic practice, this course will provide a clear, coherent over-view, illuminated by the trainer’s experience working with parliament, including with parliamentary committees, on high-profile legislation, and with MPs from a range of parties.
